A full English breakfast is served between 07.15 and 08.15 on weekdays and between 08.15 and 09.15 on Saturday and Sunday. For early risers, a continental style breakfast for self-service can be arranged. All our foods are sourced locally and are, wherever possible, organically produced. For foods sourced from elsewhere, such as coffee, tea and so on, we use Fair Trade products.

We keep a small supply of personal items such as toothpaste, hair products, shaving foam etc. for guests to purchase, should they be needed.

For guests staying 4 days or more we can arrange laundered of small items. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours for turnaround. There is a small charge. An iron and ironing board can be provided for guests convenience.

Guests are welcome to use the gardens, both front and rear but we ask that you take away any litter and smoking debris.

The house does not have a licence to sell alcohol and does not serve lunch or dinner for overnight guests. However, should guests wish to order-in an evening meal from one of the local restaurants, we will make the dining room available. To avoid inconvenience to other guests, the dining room will be available in the evening only until 8pm.

We welcome walkers and cyclists

Packed lunches will be provided, on request. We normally require 24 hours notice for packed lunches/picnics but will do our best to respond when notice might be less.

We can move your luggage from your previous night stop and also to your next destination. Please let us know in advance.
