Driving
There is easy access to the M40 (15 minutes), M25 (25 minutes) and M1 (35 minutes). Central London can be reached by road in around an hour and by train in 50 minutes.
From the North (Aylesbury).
Take the A413 south. After approximately 3 kilometres (2 miles) turn right onto the A4010 to Princes Risborough and High Wycombe. # On entering Princes Risborough, follow the A4010 through the town. Where the road bears to the left approximately 750 metres out of the town centre (half a mile) take the right hand fork into Station Road. *At the next junction, where the road bears to the right, take the left hand fork (directly ahead of you) into Picts Lane. Drifters Lodge is on your right after approximately 750 metres (half a mile).
From the West (Oxford).
From Oxford, take the A40 (M40) towards High Wycombe . Exit onto the A418 towards Aylesbury. Arriving at Thame, take the A4129 signposted for Princes Risborough. Follow from # and * above.
From the East (Hemel Hempstead).
Take the A41 towards Aylesbury and exit at the B4009 Wendover. Continue through Wendover following signs for Princes Risborough. Follow # and * above.
From the South (High Wycombe).
Take the A40 out of High Wycombe (or follow the signs for the A4010 to Aylesbury, if exiting from the M40 Handy Cross J4, then join the A40 just south of High Wycombe town centre) and follow the signs for Princes Risborough. On entering Princes Risborough take the first left hand bend after the Black Prince Pub and Hotel (tight turn) into Station Road. Follow *
